Many people work from a home office, especially in light of COVID-19. Whether you work part-time from home or have adopted an entirely remote position, you might find these home office storage tips helpful...especially if you need a more organized and productive workspace.

Free up floor space by using open shelving
Nobody likes a cluttered floor. Open shelves can optimize floor space by storing your boxes, files, folders, and office supplies. This will allow your floor space to be used for more significant home office elements, such as your desk and desk chair.

Built-in storage

Does your home office furniture serve multiple functions? It should! Your desk shouldn’t just be a desk. It should double as a storage space. The walls shouldn’t just be for hanging photos. They should also be for hanging shelves or mounting bookcases.

Store the cords

Cords should never be visible in your home office. If you can see them creeping out from behind your furniture, the room will start to feel messy and cluttered.

Go digital
We no longer need a paper trail for every little thing. If you go digital, you’ll save precious space by transferring your important documents to your computer or an external hard drive.
